Its vast number of uses include furniture and cabinet making, decking for ship and boat building, deck houses, handrails, bulwarks, hatches, hulls, planking, oars and masts. It makes a very attractive flooring. Good chemical resistance enables it to be used for laboratory benches, fume ducts and vats. It is cut for all grades of plywood and decorative veneers.
