There is installation method used for flooring which is adjusted to customer needs and location condition physically:

Glued directly on concrete. Thickness ± 2mm

Permanent method
Flat concrete (A MUST)
Adequate substrate (A MUST)
Adequate moisture (A MUST)

Glue used for this type is SikaBond T54 and T55 by Sika Group – Japan.

Glue supporting by Sika Group is using elastic bonding system unlike others, such as fox, rajawali, etc.

Below is comparison result of elastic bonding system and rigid bonding system:

SikaBond T55 (Elastic Bonding) Only small joints/gaps opened in the parquet < 1 mm	Rigid Bonding (solvent/resin based adhesive) Wide joints / gaps opened in the parquet up to 4 mm, cohesive failure of the adhesive after several cycles!

Statement above has been proved by:

Test area: 2 x 0.5 mm wooden strip (21 mm beech), wood moisture content 9% to 22%

Expansion can be hold SikaBond up to 2 mm (no failure)	Expansion is 25mm (Cohesive failure + strong barrelling cupping of the wood)

Other advantage of using SikaBond is SikaBond can reduce impact noise up to 14 desibel.
